Our family moved to Norwood in 2022 after many years of planning. I have been visiting Norwood since 1998. Our family recognizes the value and beauty of our area.
I grew up in Wisconsin. After graduating from college, I moved to San Diego to work as a chemist and nuclear medicine technologist. I spent 26 years there. We are now running a small farm on Deer Mesa. My wife is the Special Education Director in Nucla. We have three kids: Jacob (10), Zoe (8) and Ethan (6). We all utilize the Lone Cone Library resources often.
My goal for the Library and our community is to see more collaboration. I want to see the Library as the hub of a vibrant community. I am active in the Norwood School District Accountability Committee, Norwood Dark Sky Advocates Board, and School Bond Committee and help coach in the Norwood Youth Organization. I want to see Norwood succeed beyond all expectations and I think with a collaborative approach we can accomplish that.
